Project Summary

CONNECT is the world leading Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Future Networks and Communications. It brings together world-class expertise from ten Irish academic institutes to create a one-stop-shop for telecommunications research and innovation. Its mission is to develop solutions to the communications challenges facing society. New broadband architectures, new cellular technologies and the Internet of Things is the main focus of the centre’s work.

Funding Body

CONNECT is funded under the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centres Programme and is co-funded under the European Regional Development Fund.

Nimbus Role
