Dylan is a Rísam Scholar and PhD student based in Nimbus Centre.
His background mainly lies in software development, with experience working for organisations such as GoCambio, IBM, and the Bon Secours Health System.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Development & Computer Networking from the Cork Institute of Technology and was awarded best honours degree student upon completion of the course. During his undergraduate degree, Dylan designed and built an emergency alert system for a local hospital which went on to come second in an international IEEE Communications Society competition.
Dylan's current research focuses on security in Software-Defined Networks.
