Ramona obtained a PhD in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Trento in 2015, under the supervision of prof. Gian Pietro Picco and Dr. Amy Murphy.
In 2002 she received a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and in 2003 she completed M.S. in Information Systems at the same faculty.
From 2002 to 2010 she was with the Computer Science Department at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.
Her research interests are broadly in the areas of wireless networks, pervasive computing and cyber-physical systems.
