The EU funded project TRIBUTE has officially started. The kickoff meeting took place in La Rochelle, France, on 8th – 10th of October. Nimbus staff members Davide Pusceddu and Bernd-Ludwig Wenning represented the Nimbus centre in this meeting. During the next 4 years, the TRIBUTE consortium, under the lead of the Swiss research centre CSEM, will investigate ways of closing the gap between buildings’ energy performance as it was predicted, and the energy performance as it is achieved in practice. The Nimbus participation in this project will include research in the area of occupancy monitoring and modelling, as well as contributions to the wireless sensing and monitoring toolkit that is developed within TRIBUTE.
