Technology Gateway launch in Limerick

Nimbus Centre staff attended the launch of the Enterprise Ireland Gateway Network launch in Thomond Park on Monday Oct 21st. This programme represents an €23.0M investment by Enterprise Ireland over the 5 years from January 2013 to December 2017 and was launched by Sean Sherlock TD. The TEC Gateway of the Nimbus Centre is part of the Technology Gateway Network, our link with Industry.

Some of our business partners took the opportunity to speak with Minister Sherlock regarding the technology opportunities stemming from the gateway launch.

Each Gateway delivers technology solutions for industry through innovative collaborative projects and provides:

  • An open access point for industry providing technology expertise which is industry relevant.
  • Technology solutions for the close-to-market needs of Irish industry.
  • Regionally based Gateways acting as a portal to the nationwide expertise in the Technology Gateway Network and the wider Irish Research Infrastructure.
  • Ongoing development of the Gateway’s technology offer to industry with the assistance of an industry led steering committee.

 

The launch showcased the technology solutions offered by each Gateway, and offered an opportunity to meet with the Technology Gateway teams to discuss how they can assist your company.

Zeto’s head office is located in Cork. The company was founded in 2011 to design multi-vendor commercial refrigeration management systems for the global refrigeration industry.
