Marc O’Riain attended the Nimbus Centre overview session today and reviewed the implementation of his reception design. Marc and the CIT architecture factury have received numerous accolades for their work recently. Read more on their website.

The new Nimbus Centre reception looks great! As the Centre has grown to 90 staff recently, (read about current vacancies here) it’s an excellent space in which to greet new research and business contacts, keeping us on the upward expansion trajectory.

Centre Head, Dr Dirk Pesch provided an overview of centre activities, followed by presentatons on ‘Sound source separation’ techniques used on stereo re-releases for the Beach Boys by Dr Derry Fitzgerald and ‘Connected Classroom’ by Stephen Collins.
