As part of the Cork Institute of Technology’s Innovation week 2015 and the Nimbus Centre Seminar Series, Nimbus will be hosting a number of events running from the 9th-13th of March.
Monday 9th March, 2.00pm-4.00pm- ‘Entrepreneurship as a Career – Graduate Roundtable Discussion.’

Wednesday 11th March, 9.00am-3.30pm– ‘Entrepreneurship Education Seminar.’
Facilitating Entrepreneurial Capability in Higher Education- This seminar addresses the transition from college to work in a specific entrepreneurial context. This interactive seminar will explore how we can develop the entrepreneurial mindset in our teaching; the learning opportunities for enterprise that are available beyond the taught learning environment, and also explore how peer learning in a multidisciplinary setting can enhance the enterprise learning experience.

Thursday 12th March, 2.00pm-5.00pm- ‘Turning Your Ideas into Tomorrow.’
As part of Innovation Week the NIMBUS Centre will host ‘Turning Your Ideas into Tomorrow’ where individuals present ideas in private to a panel of technical experts who can provide guidance on whether the technology exists to make their idea real, and where they can obtain technical and financial assistance.
To reserve a 15-minute slot, please email nimbus@cit.ie with a short abstract of your idea. In the title, please mention whether it is a physical product (hardware) or computer program (software) or other (provide details) idea so we can have experts from the right field present. Additional meetings and support may be arranged based on the outcome. All suggestions are fully confidential.
