The #iLookLikeAnEngineer movement was started by Isis Anchalee in 2015. After receiving backlash for featuring in her companys promotional marketing campaign because she didn’t fit the traditional engineering mould, she started the viral trend which celebrates and supports diversity within engineering and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths).
