[fusion_text]On Monday 28th November, a group of Occupational Therapists (Noelle Downey, Deirdre Cullen, Sue O Neill, Sinead Tierney, Ciara O Neill) from HSE Cork South, led by Ms. Deirdre Cullen, Occupational Therapy Manager, visited Nimbus to discuss the potential for use of smart assistive technology in the field of OT.
Nimbus researchers introduced the group to the type of work and projects done in Nimbus while the OTs described the current range of assistive technology available to them and how it is used in practice. A detailed discussion followed on new and emerging technologies that could be used in OT. This identified a number of areas for technology development and collaboration between the OTs and Nimbus.[/fusion_text]
