Enterprise Ireland Innovation Vouchers

The Nimbus Gateway is a registered knowledge provider of Enterprise Ireland’s €5,000 Innovation Voucher funding initiative. The Innovation Vouchers programme is open to all small and medium-sized limited companies registered in Ireland.

Whether you are an entrepreneur with an idea, a start-up, or an established buisness, the Nimbus Gateway makes it possible to rapidly move from product concept to commercialisation stage. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of support and providing world-class collaboration with industries in all sectors. We successfully deliver over 70 projects each year, in a time scale that industry expect.

Partnership Programme

The Innovation Partnership Programme encourages Irish-based companies to work with Irish research institutes resulting in mutually beneficial co-operation and interaction. Companies can access expertise and resources to develop new and improved products, processes, and services, generating new knowledge and know-how. The participating company benefits in terms of growth, the evolution of strategic research and the development and creation of new knowledge that it can use to commercial advantage.

Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Funds

Commercialisation Fund Support is available for projects within third level institutions that address a gap or need in the market. Ideally, these projects will be licensed to industry or may form the basis of a new start-up in 2-5 years. The programme funds innovation development at all stages of the commercial pipeline, to the point where they can be commercialised as new products, services and companies.

Agile Innovation Fund

The new Enterprise Ireland Agile Innovation Fund allows Irish companies to respond quickly to new opportunities and threats such as Brexit, allowing the quick development of products, services and processes for new and existing markets. The fund allows eligible companies to access up to 50% in support for innovation projects with a total cost of up to €300,000.

Other Supports

We work extensively with national and European funding bodies to secure companies the most suitable type of funding for their project. Examples of these include EU Horizon 2020, Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
